Lupo DayLED 2000 daylight-balanced fresnel spotlight
The Lupo DayLed 2000 is the latest and most powerful of the Lupo DayLED range of fresnel lighting. It has a large 200mm fresnel lens (compared with 150mm lens on the DayLED 1000) and uses a 220W Power LED to generate a luminous output equivalent to approximately 2000W.
As with all Lupo lights the Lupo DayLED 2000 is built to stand the rigours of professional broadcast use and as one University client put it “These lamps are student proof”. The 2000 housing is made from carbon fibre reinforced polymer and is built to last a lifetime. The LEDs are very efficient and robust. They have a expected life span of over 50,000 hrs, making the 1000 a great purchase with a fast return on investment.
Lupo 2000 delivers industry leading colour rendering index values, and is fully dimmable from zero to 100%. It is also pre-configured for DMX use.
The LED bulb/powercell fitted into DayLED lights are way more reliable than glass bulbs and have a life expectancy of more than 50,000+ hours, so you will never have to worry about having to replace them.

A note about noise for filmmakers and videographers
The Lupo DayLED 2000 does have a quiet but audible fan built into the unit. For those conscious about removing such background hum, especially over dialogue recordings, we would recommend using an audio editing tool like the Dialogue Denoiser found within IZotope’s professional RX5 Audio Editor.
