Lupo Superpanel. The next generation LED Panel Light for Video and Photography.
High colour rendering index (CRI = 95)
The most important feature of LED panels is colour rendering. The Lupo Superpanel has a very high colour rendering index, around CRI > 90 (typical 95). Consequently, during shooting, the colours are perfectly balanced and without unpleasant colour casts, typical of less correct lights.
Normal LED panels on the market tend to have a very poor colour rendering and the colours are unbalanced. Other LED panels also have inconsistent colour ratios, with cast peaks, making it impossible to correct in post production. The LED technology in the Lupo SuperPanel makes all these common issues disappear.
Lightweight and portable
Lupo Superpanels are lightweight units, weighing only 2.3 kg. Lupo LED panels are compact, easy to handle and can be carried anywhere.
Powered by battery or mains
Lupo Superpanel can be powered via an AC adapter or via an ultra lightweight battery. All Superpanels include a connection for a broadcast battery, typically 14.8V with a standard XLR 4 pin connector. The DC input specification is 13-28V. The Lupo Superpanel battery is 160Wh 14.8V 11Ah. The light will not function with low capacity batteries.
DMX control
Superpanels all have DMX control and also include a standard XLR 5 pin connector for connection to a DMX console.
0 to 100% dimming control without any variation in colour temperature
Lupo LED panel lights are adjustable, with dimming control from 0 to 100%. Thanks to the special electronics, the adjustment is also designed to work flicker free and always with accurate colour temperature.
Very long LED life
Lupo proprietary LEDs are made with high quality materials for extremely long working life. Besides the chips and phosphors, the epoxy resin used in the lens is designed to avoid a rapid degradation, yet typical of poor quality LEDs. In fact, low performance resins become quickly yellow after some hundreds of hours.
Exceptional reliability
The electronic parts of the Lupo Superpanel are subjected to many quality and operation checks. In addition, they don’t contain electrolytic capacitors which can have a negative impact on their life over time.
Lupo LED panels are ideal for shooting many genres of photography or videography
LupoLED panels have many advantages: lightness, portability, mains or battery operation, high chromatic accuracy. As a result, Lupo SuperPanels are the ideal solution for all types of photographic and video shooting. Ceremony, portraiture, fashion, decor and still life are just some of the genres they can tackle with ease.

Vince –
I’ve only used the light twice but it’s working out great. Finding a reasonably priced panel with this kind of power is rare. I’m currently using it as daylight window light when there is no actual daylight. It looks great. Thanks so much for the wonderful light.
